"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life." Taylor, 20, She/Her/Hers.
staff You are recommending that I follow a nazi blog I blocked last night. Your site promotes anti-semitism to Jews. Your site shoves Nazi Swastikas in the faces of Jews. It’s bad enough that the Nazi blogs seem to be sprouting up like weeds on a site that claims to have an anti-hate policy, but to actively promote them to people who have taken the steps of blocking these blogs is beyond the pale. Clean this place up. It’s turning into Stormfront.
I encourage everyone who sees this post, Jewish or otherwise, to reblog it. Tumblr has been ignoring the growth of Nazism on this site for too long. It needs to end.
I don’t understand how people can leave tumblr. I’ve been here since 2009 - I couldn’t leave even if I wanted to.
i really believe that anyone who made an account between 2009-2011 unknowingly signed a contract with the devil and now we’re all trapped here until the website finally dies like leaving has never been an option in the first place
literally all of online “stan twitter” language is just aave that’s been popularized and generalized by nonblacks to the point where black people are the ones who look out of pocket for using words we came up with because funny internet persona #23904378 wants to use “deadass” and “finna” in every other sentence
can white people please reblog this because all i see in my notes are people of color and y’all need to own up to the fact that you overuse aave as well (looking @ u white gays)
As a writer I use everyone’s slang, as well as everywhere’s and everywhen’s. It’s all part and parcel of being someone whose job it is to take in, contextualize, and internalize words from every source possible, and I make no apologies for my theft.
being on here 5 years does not make you heauxes a tumblr ancient. im sorry but you have to have been here when ppl still said “creys” and “what is air” and you actually remember this cursed imaged
I just realized all the kids growing up with Spotify don’t have to spend money on specific music anymore, so they probably won’t have the memory of saving up money to buy their first CD and having it be something super cringy…like I think I saved up $15 for three weeks to buy the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack at Barnes & Noble when I was 9 and I was really proud of myself for that. Add your first CD you were way too proud of buying in the tags
